Sundial+ 101
Sundial+ provides a one-of-a-kind 24-hour display of the sun's and moon's rise/set cycles. As the seasons change, the yellow “sun is out” arc shows your precious daylight hours, which shrink during winter and expand as summer approaches. The white inner arc indicates when the moon is visible in the sky. The solar dial shows civil, nautical, and astronomical twilight in shades of blue.

Alerts: From Everyday to Life-Critical
Create iOS notifications for 34 unique solar and lunar events:
- Sunrise, solar mid-morning, solar noon, solar mid-afternoon, sunset, and solar midnight
- Civil twilight (dawn/dusk), nautical twilight, and astronomical twilight
- Golden hour and blue hour (morning and evening)

when planning
a vacation or an outdoor activity. And time travel is just plain fun: swipe around the dials to move forward
and backward, or press and hold the left or right side of the screen to experience the changing seasons at
warp speed.

The core iPhone and iPad app is free to use. It displays the solar and lunar cycle in Sundial+'s
unique 24-hour ring.
Times for today's sunrise, solar noon, sunset, moonrise, lunar noon, and moonset are calculated
on your device. Use time travel to review times for up to ±5 days.
